Requirements

1. Application form duly completed and signed. Print out of the email confirming the details of your appointment

2. Passport

A valid passport (and a copy) satisfying the following criteria:

✅ its validity must be at least three months longer then the visa requested;

✅ it must contain at least two blank pages;

✅ it must have been issued within the previous 10 years;

✅ it must hold a valid UAE visa.

*Damaged passports will not be accepted.

3. Two recent biometric passport sized photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm) Requirements:

✅ NEW! Should NOT be older than 6 months.

✅ A frontal view of the face covering 70-80% (32-26mm) of the photo.

✅ A uniform and white background.

✅ Clear facial features and eyes – not covered by hair or glasses frame.

✅ Head coverings are only accepted for religious reasons.

4.Copy of UAE Residence Visa valid at least 90 days from the intended return date and Previous Schengen, USA, or UK visa copy.

5. No Objection Certificate from local sponsor/employer mentioning:

✅Name and designation of the applicant;

✅Start of employment date;

✅Applicant's monthly salary;

✅No objection to travel to Italy;

✅Duration of leave;

✅Name and designation of the managerial signatory;

✅Direct phone number and e-mail of the signatory;

✅Provide copy of passport and UAE visa of the signatory. "

6.Employment Labor Contract / agreement.

7. Travel Insurance

Requirements:

✅ Valid for the entire duration of the requested visa and for all Schengen countries.

✅ Minimum coverage 30,000 € and repatriation. (Medical insurances of credit cards are not  accepted)

✅ Conditions must be stated either on insurance document or on separate confirmation letter

8. Travel Itinerary including

✅ Flight Reservation

✅ Valid (existing) hotel / accommodation booking / reservation with full address (name, street, city, zip code, contact information, booking ref.) 

9. Verifiable evidence of sufficient means of subsistence during intended stay:

✅Last 3 months pay slips;

✅Last 3 months bank statements (foreign bank accounts will not be considered);

✅A valid international credit card accompanied by the relevant last 3 months card statements;

✅Any other document that might help evaluate your financial situation in the UAE (i.e. other bank accounts, personal properties, investments, etc.).

✅Bank Statement should be on a bank letterhead. Photocopies or online statements must bear the original bank stamp.

10. Additional documents for minors below the age of 18 (if applicable) – proving legal parenthood:

✅ Copy of either birth certificate / proof of adoption / custody decree if parents are divorced / death certificate of parent (Consulate reserves the right to request the original document at a later stage)

✅ Documents need to be translated into either German or English.

✅ “Letter of consent” (Authorization of Minors) from parents, including passport copies and valid UAE residence visa copies of both parents/ legal guardian.

11. Invitation letter from the company (Business).

12. The applicant has to personally visit the VFS Centre with a prior appointment for submission of documents and registering the finger-prints.

13.Marriage certificate translated into Spanish or English: If husband & wife are from different nationalities.
